Cape Town Tourism has launched the Find Your Freedom immersive travel experience.

The interactive interface uses game-style graphics to let travelers around the world choose their Mother City adventure, based on which guide they identify with – the intrepid foodie, wilderness warrior or urban adventurer .

Hosted on the Cape Town Tourism site, visitors are welcomed into an immersive world by an enchanted African storyteller, who invites them to choose their guide. All characters are designed to be visually striking, in afro-futuristic graphics inspired by the video game.

Once they select Fearless Foodie, Nature Warrior or Urban Adventurer, the viewer is taken down a rabbit hole of quick videos, showcasing some of the best offers related to their interests. For example, an intrepid foodie will “visit” La Colombe, watch an aunt fold samosas at Bo Kaap, and delve into steampunk scenes at Truth Coffee.
